after coming back to dA today I realised that the holidays are closer than they've seemed to me all year, hell even a day ago I was neglectful to the fact that they even existed. but today when I realised Christmas is just around the bend, I realised something. about devart I've never noticed before.. people begin to bombastically submit art as quickly as they can, or so it seems, and I find many of my favourite artists lacking in artistic skill because of the pace they're trying to produce at.
I know most people won't take the time to read my journal, I don't expect them too, but for those of you who do, I want to say this; slow it down this christmas, and for the rest of your life if you deem it necessary, don't just do rush jobs to submit crap to the world. take your time, make your art YOUR art, make it worth your while, and give your viewers what they really deserve to see.
